The Mayan astrologers had a complex way of determining one’s place on the wheel of their zodiac. White Crystal World-Bridger is my place on the Mayan wheel and most closely sums up the juxtapositions of the diverse and many experiences, aptitudes, skill sets, and fortunate opportunities this life has blessed me with. Wanderlust and creative expression are like acts of breathing for me. I can no more deny them, than I could deny my own heartbeat. For that reason I have explored most of the continental US, many of the Fine Arts Museums of the major metropolises, and slept under the open stars of some of the finest gifts of nature and landscape this great country of ours has to offer. With both an aptitude for both Art and Math, all acts of creation, for me, attempt to balance and harmonize the diversity of my inner world through co-creation between my inner artist and my inner scientist. I am classically trained and self-educated I have experimented with almost every medium available to the modern artist. “Form follows function” is one of the basic tenants of my formal education that underlies almost all of my creations. |

Jewelry creation allows an entirely new, to me, outlet for my creations, wearable art. As a sculptor, finding large areas for installations can bring challenges to seeing one’s visions come to fruition. With Jewelry I am able to incorporate all of the elements of sculptural and color theory into a more portable and accessible statement. I have always had a strong affinity for cat’s and their feline qualities. Strong-willed, independent, and sometimes finicky, I myself exhibit many of the qualities that people either love or hate about cats. Each of these pieces is created as a one of a kind, limited edition, to reflect the independence and uniqueness inherent in all things. As a piece of art unique unto itself, I hope it serves each wearer as a reflection and a reminder of their own inherent and unique gifts. |
